Ign south park fractured but whole
So yeah, it takes characters from the show. the concept behind both Stick of Truth and Fractured is that you're in South Park. It doesn't live parallel to it, but yeah. IGN: Will the game be considered canon for the show? Will it exist almost like an episode? Let's make it cool, and then it can be DLC to keep the game going. But that's a perfect example of something that's like, yeah, let's do that. But it almost feels like a little bit of a different story, so. Trey Parker: We actually came up with two things that we were like - from the beginning - that would be really sweet. This game we might do it if we come up with some good ideas. IGN: So you were able to say no for the most part? They'd say, I see you cut this out of the game. Trey Parker: That's how they would say it. And they were like, what about that little thing you cut? And I was like, that was terrible. Matt Stone: In the last game, Stick of Truth, we were straining to get the main thing done so much. You can tell that they were things that were thrown aside. And as long as it's not bulls#!t, as long as it's real work, that's cool. … You've got the world, and now we can - instead of starting from scratch - we can say, here's a little adventure we can do. You have this game and you're trying to create this living thing. It's not like you have this game and you have a couple things to download. if there is good downloadable content, we would do it. Matt Stone: Yeah, we were like, screw that. Matt Stone: I think we're reacting to the idea that we don't want to put out anything that's like, here's this other thing that was cut because it's s#!t. Matt Stone: We were just like, we're not doing any more. Trey Parker: We just didn't want to do it. IGN: In the past you guys have said you're not too hot on downloadable content for games.
